The body of a newborn was discovered in a trash bin in a restroom at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport on Tuesday night at approximately 10:30 pm.
The infant was taken to Cooper Hospital, where doctors declared the baby brought dead upon arrival.
The Sahar Police have registered a case against an unidentified individual and launched an investigation into the incident.
