Newborn Found Abandoned in Mississippi, Two Arrested

Two individuals, identified as Marlid Susana Carballo and Arsides Gomez, both 27, were arrested on charges of conspiracy to commit a crime and false reporting of a crime.
The newborn girl, estimated to be two or three weeks old, was found abandoned in a car seat behind dumpsters at the Grove of Cayce mobile home park in Mississippi.
The baby was discovered by three men who were throwing away trash and heard what they thought was a baby crying.
The baby was taken to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis and is reported to be in good condition.
