New Yorkers Vote In Primary Elections Across City

Today is Primary Day in New York City, with polls open from 6am to 9pm.
New Yorkers are voting in primary races for City Council, Queens and The Bronx district attorney contests, and several judgeships.
New York is holding critical local primaries on June 27, 2023, for City Council contests, district attorney races, and other offices throughout the state.
Less than half of the 51 City Council seats are being contested in primaries, and 13 races feature more than two candidates, making ranked-choice voting necessary.
In the Bronx and Queens, district attorney races are taking place, with incumbents facing challenges from the left and right.
