• Kevin Mares, 25, was struck by a stray bullet at the Shelter for Mistreated Men club in La Perla during the predawn hours of August 10 and later died at Puerto Rico’s largest public hospital.
• Two La Perla residents were wounded in the same incident and remain hospitalized.
• Authorities are interviewing bystanders and following sparse leads as they seek to identify the shooter and establish a motive.
• Mares had traveled with three friends to attend one of Bad Bunny’s 30 residency concerts in San Juan, which have drawn tens of thousands of visitors since July.
