New York Sun Owner Joins Bid for The Telegraph

Dovid Efune leads a consortium of US investors in the final stages of the auction for the prominent UK newspaper.

Dovid Efune, owner of The New York Sun, is competing against other high-profile bidders including Sir Paul Marshall and National World.
Efune's consortium includes financial backing from Oaktree, Hudson Bay Capital, and the family office of hedge fund manager Michael Leffell.
The Telegraph, along with its Sunday edition, is expected to sell for between £400m and £500m, with final bids due by September 27.
RedBird IMI, the Abu Dhabi-backed fund currently holding The Telegraph, seeks to recoup the £600m it paid for the titles last year.
Other potential bidders include a consortium led by former Cabinet minister Nadhim Zahawi and private equity group CVC.
