• The New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct issued the censure on June 9, 2025, for Klein’s April 2024 disruption of a Jericho Union Free School District board meeting.
• Investigators found that Klein repeatedly invoked his judicial title during the public meeting and refused to yield the microphone when challenged by district counsel.
• In a separate incident dating to 2022, Klein used his office to secure the removal of a boot from an acquaintance’s vehicle over unpaid parking tickets.
