Overview

• The temporary ban runs from Oct. 2 through Oct. 15, with conditions to be reassessed afterward.
• The order prohibits most outdoor burning, including brush fires, uncontained campfires and open cooking fires.
• Small, contained cooking fires and backyard fire pits within size limits remain permitted, and garbage or leaf burning is still banned year-round.
