- The festival’s 21st edition runs November 7–16 across all five boroughs with more than 100 shows at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Beacon Theatre, Madison Square Garden and Town Hall.

- Stephen Colbert, Amy Sedaris and Paul Dinello will reunite at Town Hall on November 8 to mark the 25th anniversary of the sitcom 'Strangers With Candy.'
- Stand Up for Heroes returns as part of the festival, raising funds for the Bob Woodruff Foundation which has supported veterans and military families to the tune of $113 million since 2007.
- General-public tickets become available on July 21 at 11 AM ET and organizers say further programming details will be announced in the coming weeks.
