- Racing begins at 8:00 a.m. ET with the men’s wheelchair start, followed by elite women at 8:35 a.m., elite men at 9:05 a.m., then five general waves through 11:30 a.m.
 - More than 55,000 runners from roughly 150 countries are expected to traverse the course from Staten Island to the Central Park finish on West 67th Street.
 - The Verrazzano‑Narrows Bridge is closed to non‑emergency traffic from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. (upper level closed from 11 p.m. Saturday), with extensive street closures posted across all five boroughs.
 - NYPD has activated a Joint Operations Center with Bomb Squad, Aviation, Harbor, ESU and K‑9 units to monitor the route and respond in real time, with public advisories urging vigilance.
