New Witcher Prequel Novel 'Crossroads of Ravens' Set for Global Release This September

Andrzej Sapkowski's new Witcher novel, 'Crossroads of Ravens,' will be released globally in English and 19 other languages on September 30, 2025.
The book is a prequel focusing on an 18-year-old Geralt of Rivia, showcasing his early experiences and growth as a Witcher.
It depicts Geralt's first mission from Kaer Morhen, where he encounters monsters, traitors, new allies, and familiar faces while confronting the stigma surrounding Witchers.
The English translation is by David French, who has translated six of the eight previous Witcher books, with plans to retranslate two earlier entries in 2026.
Sapkowski describes the novel as a story of growth, idealism, and the choices that shaped Geralt's legendary destiny, making it accessible for both new readers and longtime fans.
