New Westminster Police Release CCTV of Suspects in Seniors' Care Home Audio Theft

Police ask the public to help identify two suspects captured on video using makeshift sheet disguises.

Overview

  • NWPD released surveillance images on Aug. 26 showing two people covering themselves with sheets while moving electronic music equipment from the facility.
  • The theft occurred overnight on Aug. 9 at a seniors' care community on the 900 block of Colborne Street in New Westminster.
  • Staff found one floor ransacked, and most of the stolen audio equipment was later recovered after being abandoned on the street outside.
  • One suspect is a man in his 30s with shaved brown hair and a right forearm tattoo sleeve, seen wearing a blue shirt, grey shorts, brown sandals, and a red-and-black Toronto Raptors backpack.
  • The second suspect is a woman in her 30s with shoulder-length blonde hair and glasses, seen in a green Adidas cap, grey patterned top, pleated mini skirt, black cross-body purse, and black-and-white wedge sneakers; anyone with information is asked to call 604-525-5411.
