New Video Shows Rollover of Jeep Registered to Cam Taylor-Britt, Police Report Lists Him as Passenger

Police say no charges were filed in the Covington crash.

Overview

  • Surveillance and bodycam footage from Nov. 15 in Covington show the Jeep running a red light, striking a parked car and flipping onto its roof.
  • Occupants initially left the scene, and Taylor-Britt’s brother, Jafabian Booker, later returned and told officers he was driving after first blaming a woman.
  • The Covington police report lists Taylor-Britt as a backseat passenger, and he told officers his license was suspended.
  • Capt. Justin Bradbury said the case was not referred to prosecutors and no arrests were made.
  • On Jan. 6, Taylor-Britt pleaded guilty in a separate case to reckless driving and driving with a restricted license, served five days in jail, and the crash preceded his season-ending injury by one day.
