The first episode, titled 'Dunkelheit,' is set to premiere in autumn 2025 and will delve into a cold case originating in the Frankfurt area.
Both actors express personal affinity for Frankfurt, citing its unique charm and appeal as a filming location.
The previous 'Tatort' duo, Janneke and Brix, concluded their run in September 2024 after nearly a decade and 19 episodes.
