New Polls Indicate Close 2024 Presidential Race Between Trump, Biden with RFK Jr. Disrupting Balances

Recent polls indicate a close race for the 2024 Presidential Election between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump, with a significant intervention by Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. who is currently at a notable 13% lead among independent contenders.
Without Kennedy in the race, Trump leads Biden by a narrow margin (41% to 39%). However, Kennedy's bid seems to pull votes from both Trump and Biden, but hurting Trump's campaign more by narrowing his lead.
Support for Kennedy comes primarily from independent voters (23%), Democrats (7%), and Republicans (9%). His voters, by a 2-to-1 margin, said they would otherwise support Trump in the election, affirming that Kennedy's candidacy impacts Trump's campaign greater than Biden's.
Both Biden and Trump face low approval ratings for their potential re-election, with 67% of voters believing Biden should not run for reelection, and 58% expressing the same for Trump. Among Independents, 74% believe Biden and 61% believe Trump shouldn’t run.
Trump maintains a strong hold over the Republican nomination (58% support), while Biden's approval rating stands at 40% with 56% disapproving.
