New Poll Finds Wisconsin Governor's Race Wide Open as Tiffany, Barnes Lead Early

Large undecided blocs signal volatile primaries in the first open governor's race since 2010.

  • A generic gubernatorial ballot shows 43% backing a Republican candidate and 40% favoring a Democrat.
  • Gov. Tony Evers holds 52% job approval as the open-seat contest moves toward an Aug. 11, 2026 primary and a Nov. 3 general election.
