New Orleans Attack Claims Life of Former Royal Nanny’s Stepson

Edward Pettifer, stepson of Tiggy Legge-Bourke, former nanny to Princes William and Harry, was identified as one of the 14 victims of the New Orleans terror attack on New Year's Day.
The attack, carried out by Shamsud-Din Jabbar, a 42-year-old U.S. Army veteran, involved a truck ramming into crowds on Bourbon Street, killing 14 and injuring over 30 people.
Jabbar, who expressed support for ISIS in videos posted before the attack, was killed in a shootout with police at the scene; authorities believe he acted alone.
Prince William and King Charles have publicly expressed their grief, with the King personally contacting Pettifer’s family to offer condolences.
The Metropolitan Police and UK Foreign Office are assisting Pettifer’s family with repatriation efforts, and his family has requested privacy as they mourn.
