New Musical 'The Ghost of John McCain' Unveiled, Family Unaware and Uninvolved

The show, set inside Trump's mind, features McCain and other political figures, with its first reading scheduled for January 11.

Meghan McCain, daughter of the late Senator John McCain, has stated that her family did not authorize nor were they aware of the new musical, 'The Ghost of John McCain'.
The musical, written by Scott Elmegreen and scored by Drew Fornarola, portrays the late senator and Vietnam War veteran as he returns from the afterlife only to find himself stuck in former President Donald Trump's head.
The characters in the musical include John McCain, Donald Trump, Donald Trump's brain, Lindsey Graham, Hillary Clinton and other major American political figures.
The musical is described as a 'unique psychological exploration of power, rivalry, and the human condition' and features a 'Greek Chorus' of iconic public figures, including Hillary Clinton, Roy Cohn, Theodore Roosevelt and Lindsey Graham, who rebel against Trump's demands for affirmation.
The first staged reading of the musical is set to take place on January 11.
