Overview
- The Alpha Capricornids will streak across the sky from July 3 through July 31, peaking with slow, bright meteors at the end of the month.
- The Southern Delta Aquarids become active on July 12 and reach their maximum rate on July 31 under the dark conditions of the July 24 new moon.
- The July Pegasids run from July 4 to 14 and peak on July 10 with up to five meteors per hour, though moonlight will reduce visibility.
- The Gamma Draconids are forecast to peak on July 28 around 09:00 CEST, offering about five slow meteors per hour during their July 25–31 activity window.
- Venus will appear in the Hyades on the morning of July 11 and join Jupiter and a slim crescent Moon on July 22, while Saturn becomes increasingly visible in the late-night sky.
