New Monolith Discovered in Wales Amidst Global Mystery

The latest stainless steel structure found on Hay Bluff adds to the intrigue of similar unclaimed monoliths appearing since 2020.

A 10-foot-tall silver monolith has been discovered on Hay Bluff near Hay-on-Wye, Powys, Wales, sparking curiosity and speculation.
The monolith, described as being made of stainless steel and resembling a giant Toblerone, has no visible welding marks and appears well-placed despite windy conditions.
This is the latest in a series of mysterious monoliths that have appeared worldwide since 2020, with previous instances in Utah, California, Romania, and the Isle of Wight.
No individual or group has yet claimed responsibility for the Welsh monolith, continuing the trend of anonymity surrounding these structures.
Local residents and hikers, including Craig Muir and Richard Haynes, were among the first to spot the monolith, noting its precise placement and the lack of disturbance around it.
