New Leadership Team Announced for Berlin's Grips Theater

A four-member team will take over the artistic and commercial direction in August 2025, succeeding Philipp Harpain.

The Grips Theater in Berlin, renowned for its commitment to children's rights and diversity, will be led by a new team starting in the 2025/26 season.
Winfried Tobias, Natalie Driemeyer, and Thomas Keller will assume artistic leadership roles, while Jutta Brinkschulte will handle commercial management.
Winfried Tobias returns to the Grips Theater with extensive experience, having previously served as a dramaturg from 2007 to 2013.
Natalie Driemeyer is transitioning from the Hans Otto Theater in Potsdam, where she led initiatives on climate change and theater.
Thomas Keller, with nearly 40 years at the Grips Theater, brings in-depth institutional knowledge to the leadership team.
