New Jersey Woman Charged with Bludgeoning Her Mother to Death

Police responded to a report of an assault in progress on Monday at a home in Willingboro Township, New Jersey, where they discovered the body of Kim Beacham-Hanson, 57.
Kim Beacham-Hanson, a singer-songwriter, was found dead from multiple blunt injuries, which the medical examiner determined to be a homicide.
Breanna Beacham, the victim’s 32-year-old daughter, was temporarily staying at the residence and was arrested at the scene.
Beacham has been charged with first-degree murder, third-degree possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, and fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the motive for the attack as the case is prepared for presentation to a grand jury.
