• Authorities allege the abuse began in 2018 when the older daughter, then in sixth grade, was withdrawn from school and confined at home.
• The 18-year-old victim described being forced to live in a dog cage for a year, later chained in a bathroom, and eventually held in a bare room with only a bucket for a toilet.
• The victim escaped on May 8, 2025, with the help of a neighbor, prompting police to uncover a second victim, a 13-year-old girl, living under similar conditions.
• Brenda Spencer (38) and Brandon Mosley (41) have been charged with 12 counts, including kidnapping, aggravated assault, sexual abuse, and criminal restraint.
