New Jersey Man Charged with Murdering His Mother While She Slept

Robert Parody, 25, allegedly stabbed his 61-year-old mother in the chest in their Howell Township home.

Robert Parody was arrested and charged with first-degree murder and a related weapons offense.
The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. on Porter Road, approximately 34 miles east of Trenton.
Loretta Parody was taken to a hospital for emergency treatment but was pronounced dead.
