New January 6 Footage Reveals Tense Exchange Between Rioters and GOP Lawmakers

Video shot by convicted rioter Damon Beckley shows threats and anger towards Vice President Mike Pence.

New footage from the January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol shows a tense exchange between rioters and Republican lawmakers Rep. Troy Nehls of Texas and Sen. Markwayne Mullin of Oklahoma.
The video was shot by Damon Beckley, a rioter who was found guilty of obstructing the electoral college certification and of civil disorder.
Despite the threats lawmakers faced that day, some House GOP members continue to downplay the riot.
Rioters in the video can be heard threatening further violence and expressing anger towards Vice President Mike Pence.
Both Nehls and Mullin had previously voted to overturn the 2020 Electoral College results.
