- According to the Department of Justice, Anderson's threats began in late November and included messages to 'impale' and 'disembowel' one candidate, 'blow' the head off another, and 'blow' the 'brains out' of a third, while also threatening to 'kill everyone' at a campaign event.
- Although the Department of Justice did not name the candidates who received the threats, it has been confirmed that one of the targets was Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.
- Anderson was arrested on December 9, made an initial court appearance on December 11, and was released on conditions on December 14.
- If found guilty, Anderson could face up to five years in prison, up to three years of supervised release, and a fine of up to $250,000 for each charge.
