New Hampshire Air National Guard Commander Killed in Hit-and-Run

Brig. Gen. John Pogorek, a father of five, was struck while securing a load on his trailer; investigation ongoing.

John Pogorek, 57, was the commander of the New Hampshire Air National Guard since 2022.
He was hit by a red Toyota RAV4 driven by 81-year-old Paul Clement, who did not stop after the collision.
Pogorek had pulled over to the side of the road to resecure a load on his trailer when he was struck.
Authorities located the vehicle and driver, but no charges have been filed yet.
Pogorek is survived by his wife, Whitney, and their five children.
