New Gundam Series 'GQuuuuuuX' Announced With Evangelion Creator at Helm

- The series is co-written by Hideaki Anno, creator of Neon Genesis Evangelion, alongside Yoji Enokido, with direction by Kazuya Tsurumaki, a veteran of Evangelion and FLCL.
- Set in a space colony, the story follows three young characters involved in underground mecha duels, with the titular GQuuuuuuX mobile suit at the center of the action.
- The series features mecha designs by Ikuto Yamashita, known for his work on Evangelion, and character designs by Take, who has contributed to Pokémon Sun & Moon.
- A theatrical cut of the initial episodes, titled 'GQuuuuuuX – Beginning –,' will release in Japanese theaters on January 17, 2025, with international availability and TV broadcast to follow.
