Overview

• Keanu Reeves portrays Gabriel, a “budget” guardian angel whose attempt to swap lives between a struggling gig worker and a wealthy tech entrepreneur drives the comedy.
• Aziz Ansari makes his first feature film as both writer and director, also starring as Arj, the gig worker at the center of the swap.
• The project resumed filming in January 2024 after nearly a year-long hold during the 2023 WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
• The ensemble cast also features Seth Rogen as the tech executive, Keke Palmer as Arj’s friend and budding union organizer, and Sandra Oh as Gabriel’s strict overseer.
• Lionsgate will premiere the R-rated comedy at the Venice and Toronto film festivals before its wide release on October 17.
