Overview

• Phase one of the new service launches in New Milton, Brockenhurst and Lymington on Monday, June 9.
• Residents will receive 240-liter wheelie bins and food waste recycling caddies with weekly food waste collections and alternate-week general waste and recycling pickups.
• Optimized routes, new vehicles and an in-cab system delivering live updates are expected to streamline operations across the district.
• Residents should check their collection day using NFDC letters or the council’s website and switch to bins and caddies after their final sack collection.
• The rollout continues with phase two in October covering Bransgore, Ringwood and Fordingbridge and phase three in March 2026.
