New England Revolution Transfer Esmir Bajraktarevic, Sign Luis Diaz

The 19-year-old forward joins PSV Eindhoven, while the 26-year-old Costa Rican winger reunites with coach Caleb Porter on a one-year deal.

Esmir Bajraktarevic, 19, has been transferred from the New England Revolution to Dutch club PSV Eindhoven for an undisclosed fee, with New England retaining a percentage of future sell-on rights.
Bajraktarevic, a homegrown player, played three MLS seasons with 45 appearances, contributing three goals and three assists.
Luis Diaz, a 26-year-old Costa Rican winger, joins the Revolution on a free transfer from Deportivo Saprissa, signing a one-year contract with options for 2026 and 2027.
Diaz previously played in MLS with the Columbus Crew and Colorado Rapids, recording six goals and 14 assists in 86 matches, and won the MLS Cup in 2020 under Revolution coach Caleb Porter.
The Revolution aim to strengthen their attack with Diaz’s speed and versatility after finishing 14th in the Eastern Conference in 2024 and missing the playoffs.
