- Rita Ora will co-host the live countdown from New York’s Times Square, while Jeannie Mai will host the Hollywood portion of the broadcast in the Pacific time zone.
- Dayanara Torres will return as a co-host to ring in the new year in the Atlantic time zone from Puerto Rico in a Spanish language countdown.
- The Central Time zone countdown from New Orleans, which had been part of the show since 2017, has been eliminated from the lineup.
- The show will air on Dec. 31 live on ABC beginning at 8 p.m. ET, featuring more than five-and-a-half hours of performances and special guests.
