• Deputies received a report Tuesday morning that a juvenile was missing from a Silver Springs home and entered her into the national database as a runaway.
• Sacramento police located the girl around 9 a.m. at the Greyhound station and released her to her family.
• Lyon County investigators identified Gordon Alexander Bayne, 31, as a person of interest and say he transported the girl to Reno knowing she intended to leave the state.
• Bayne was stopped in Silver Springs, initially denied involvement, then allegedly acknowledged helping with transport and tried to dissuade another minor from cooperating.
• He was booked into Lyon County Jail on charges including kidnapping, conspiracy, child neglect, witness intimidation, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and obstruction, as the multi-agency investigation continues.
