Netto Recalls Two Fish Frikadellen Lines Over Listeria Risk

The retailer attributes the contamination to a cleaning step that introduced bacteria into the production line.

  • Affected items are LYKKEBERG 1899 fish frikadellen with salmon 9x20 g (lots L234YF–L434YF; MHD 30.09.2025–02.10.2025) and NAVITO fish frikadellen 4x95 g (lots L330YF–L335YF; MHD 03.09.2025–08.10.2025).
  • Netto says Listeria monocytogenes entered the line during a cleaning process, rendering the specified batches unsafe for consumption.
  • Customers are urged not to eat the products and can return them to stores for a full refund without a receipt.
  • The products were distributed by Netto and name Danish manufacturers Lykkeberg A/S (Aalbæk) and Tenax Sild A/S (Nyborg) on the labels.
  • Medical sources report symptoms can include fever, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea, with pregnant people, children, older adults and immunocompromised individuals advised to seek prompt care if symptoms appear.
