Netflix's 'The Witcher' showrunner blindsides cast by replacing Henry Cavill

However, "The Witcher" has no precedent for changing lead actors like those other franchises.
Fans may not accept Hemsworth taking over the role of Geralt from Cavill.
The producer is already planning future seasons with the idea that the role of Geralt can be played by different actors.
