Netflix's 'Ripley' Starring Andrew Scott Set to Premiere on April 4

Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for 'Ripley', a new series based on Patricia Highsmith's Tom Ripley novels, set to premiere on April 4, 2024.
The series stars Andrew Scott as Tom Ripley, a grifter in 1960s New York who is hired by a wealthy man to convince his vagabond son, Dickie Greenleaf (played by Johnny Flynn), to return home from Italy.
Dakota Fanning also stars in the series as Marge Sherwood, Dickie's girlfriend who grows suspicious of Tom.
The series is written and directed by Steven Zaillian, known for his work on 'The Irishman' and 'The Night Of'.
The series was originally developed by Showtime and later acquired by Netflix.
