Netflix's true crime anthology series 'Monster' has announced its cast for the second season, which will focus on the Menéndez brothers, convicted in 1996 for the murder of their parents.
Javier Bardem and Chloë Sevigny have been cast as the parents, José and Kitty Menéndez, while Nicholas Alexander Chavez and Cooper Koch will play the brothers, Lyle and Erik Menéndez.
Emmy winner Nathan Lane will portray writer and investigative journalist Dominick Dunne, who covered the Menéndez brothers trial for Vanity Fair.
The first season of 'Monster', which focused on serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, was a major success for Netflix, ranking as one of its most-watched English language series of all time.
The second season of 'Monster' is expected to premiere later in 2024.
