Netflix Unveils Trailer for Russo Brothers’ Sci-Fi Epic 'The Electric State'

The film, starring Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt, explores a dystopian 1990s where robots live in exile after a failed uprising.

The Electric State is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and is based on Simon Stålenhag's graphic novel of the same name.
The story follows Michelle, played by Millie Bobby Brown, as she searches for her missing brother with the help of a robot and a smuggler, portrayed by Chris Pratt.
Set in a retro-futuristic 1990s, the film depicts a society grappling with the aftermath of a robot rebellion that led to their exile in a walled-off area known as the Electric State.
The ensemble cast includes Ke Huy Quan, Stanley Tucci, Giancarlo Esposito, and voice performances by Anthony Mackie, Alan Tudyk, and others.
The Electric State will premiere on Netflix on March 14, 2025, marking the Russo Brothers' latest collaboration with the streaming giant.
