Netflix Unveils 'Plankton: The Movie' for 2025

The SpongeBob SquarePants spinoff will focus on the tiny villain's thwarted world domination plans.

Directed by Dave Needham, the film features a screenplay by Mr. Lawrence, Kaz, and Chris Viscardi.
The voice cast includes Mr. Lawrence, Tom Kenny, Jill Talley, Bill Fagerbakke, Carolyn Lawrence, Clancy Brown, and Rodger Bumpass.
Plankton's computerized assistant and wife, Karen, will play a significant role in the movie.
Original music will be composed by Mahuia Bridgman-Cooper with songs by Bret McKenzie, Linda Perry, and others.
The announcement follows the upcoming release of 'Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie' this August.
