Netflix to Remove Most Interactive Titles by December 1

The streaming giant will keep only four interactive specials, citing a shift in focus to other technological efforts.

Netflix will delist 20 out of its 24 interactive specials, leaving only 'Black Mirror: Bandersnatch,' 'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs. the Reverend,' and two Bear Grylls titles.
The decision marks the end of Netflix's experiment with interactive content, which began in 2017 with 'Puss in Book: Trapped in an Epic Tale.'
Interactive specials allowed viewers to influence the storyline through choices, offering multiple endings and encouraging re-watches.
Netflix spokesperson Chrissy Kelleher stated that the technology has become limiting as the company shifts its focus to other technological areas.
Despite the removal of interactive specials, Netflix continues to explore gaming, including mobile titles and a game streaming beta.
