The series is being produced by James' SpringHill Company, Barack Obama's Higher Ground Productions, and Peyton Manning's Omaha Productions.
The docuseries is modeled after Netflix's successful 'Quarterback' series and has already begun filming.
The premiere date and the name of the series are yet to be announced.
Four of the featured players are from the league's top teams, while James' Lakers are currently struggling.
