Netflix Secures Universal's Live-Action Films in Expanded Licensing Deal

Starting in 2027, Netflix will stream Universal's live-action films, previously on Amazon, alongside its popular animated titles.

Universal's live-action films will be available on Netflix no later than eight months after their theatrical release, following an initial streaming period on Peacock.
The renewed deal also extends Netflix's licensing of Universal's animated films, including hits from Illumination and DreamWorks Animation.
