Hitoshi One, known for 'Tokyo Swindlers,' has signed an exclusive five-year deal with Netflix.
The deal includes the production and distribution of all One's upcoming series and films.
'Tokyo Swindlers' debuted in July and topped Netflix's Global Top 10 (Non-English) for five weeks, and Japan's Top 10 for six weeks.
One's previous works include award-winning titles like 'Moteki,' 'Bakuman,' and 'Elpis: Hope or Disaster.'
Netflix continues to expand its Japanese live-action content, with other hits like 'City Hunter' and 'House of Ninjas' released this year.
