Netflix Reveals Trailer and Release Date for Live-Action Adaptation of Popular Anime Series 'One Piece'

Netflix is adapting the popular manga series "One Piece" into a live-action show premiering August 31, 2023.
The show follows Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates searching for treasure in a fantastical world.
The first season will consist of 10 episodes covering the introductory East Blue arc from the manga.
The show features a talented international cast and was filmed in Cape Town,South Africa.
The original manga creator Eiichiro Oda served as an executive producer, approving of Netflix's adaptation.
