Netflix is reportedly developing two spinoffs of the popular series 'Peaky Blinders'.
One spinoff is set to be based in Boston during the mid-20th century, a few decades after the original series.
The other spinoff is expected to focus on the character of Polly Gray, the matriarch of the Shelby family, originally played by the late Helen McCrory.
The spinoffs are yet to be confirmed, but 'Peaky Blinders' creator Steven Knight has revealed that the script for a spinoff movie is almost finished.
Netflix's move aligns with the industry trend of expanding successful series into franchises, with other shows like 'Wednesday' and 'Extraction' also reportedly being considered for spinoffs.
