Overview

  • The service will delist 22 indie mobile titles next month—Hades exits on July 1 and most others, including the Monument Valley trilogy, leave by July 14.
  • Several Netflix-exclusive games such as Katana ZERO and Death’s Door risk disappearing from Android and iOS unless publishers like Devolver Digital launch them as standalone paid apps.
  • The delistings follow Netflix’s October 2024 shutdown of its AAA studio Team Blue, the cancellation of multiple projects and staffing cuts under games chief Alain Tascan.
  • Netflix will keep blockbuster tie-ins like Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Squid Game: Unleashed available and is set to add Spirit Crossing and WWE2K25: Netflix Edition in fall 2025.
  • The streamer is prioritizing titles linked to its own shows, party-style multiplayer games and content for children as it works to define its voice in the gaming market.
