Overview
- Netflix released the official trailer Tuesday and set the three-episode series, The One About Matthew Perry, to premiere on October 27, 2026.
- The docuseries is directed by Emmy-winner Mary Robertson and produced by Maxine Productions and Sony Pictures Television.
- The trailer includes new material from Perry's sister, Mia Perry Bowick, who says he spent about $7 million trying to stop drinking.
- The film uses previously unseen family photos and videos plus testimony from longtime friends and colleagues to show Perry beyond his Chandler Bing persona.
- The release follows official findings and legal closure: a 2023 autopsy ruled Perry's death accidental from acute ketamine effects and a 2026 criminal case over ketamine supply ended with guilty pleas and a 15-year sentence for Jasveen Sangha.
