Netflix Releases Trailer for 'One Day' Series Adaptation

Ambika Mod and Leo Woodall Star in the 20-Year Love Story Set to Premiere on February 8

Netflix has released the first trailer for its series adaptation of David Nicholls' best-selling novel 'One Day', which follows the 20-year friendship and love story of characters Emma Morley and Dexter Mayhew.
The series, set to premiere on February 8, 2024, stars Ambika Mod and Leo Woodall in the lead roles, reprising the characters previously portrayed by Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess in a 2011 film adaptation.
Each of the 14 episodes in the series will check in with the characters on the same date each year, capturing different phases of their lives and their evolving relationship.
The series is expected to provide a more detailed exploration of the characters' story than the film adaptation, with more time dedicated to covering the 20-year span of the novel.
The series also features Essie Davis, Tim McInnerny, Amber Grappy, Jonny Weldon, Eleanor Tomlinson, Joely Richardson, and Toby Stephens in supporting roles.
