Netflix Releases Trailer for Dystopian Drama 'The Kitchen'

Co-written and Directed by Daniel Kaluuya, the Film Explores Inequality in a Future London

Netflix has released the official trailer for 'The Kitchen', a dystopian drama set in 2044 London, co-written and directed by Daniel Kaluuya and Kibwe Tavares.
The film stars Kane Robinson and Jedaiah Bannerman, and explores themes of inequality, fatherhood, class, resilience, and defiance in a society where the gap between rich and poor has been stretched to its limits.
'The Kitchen' is set in a future where all forms of social housing have been eradicated, and follows the struggles of Izi (Robinson), a resident trying to find a way out, and 12-year-old Benji (Bannerman), who has lost his mother and is searching for a family.
The film had its world premiere at the BFI London Film Festival in October and will premiere on Netflix on January 12, 2024.
Daniel Kaluuya, known for his roles in 'Black Panther' and 'Get Out', marks his directorial debut with 'The Kitchen'.
