Netflix Opens First Permanent ‘Netflix House’ in Philadelphia on Nov. 12

The site pilots Netflix’s modular, free-to-enter venue model with ticketed attractions, retail, dining, sponsorships and local hiring.

Overview

  • The 100,000-plus-square-foot venue at King of Prussia Mall includes a free 229-seat TUDUM Theater hosting screenings, fan events and live sports viewings.
  • Ticketed draws at launch include the Wednesday and One Piece immersive experiences priced from about $39, Rebel Moon VR starting at $25 and a nine‑hole mini golf course starting at $15.
  • KPop Demon Hunters features in public spaces and programming, though a dedicated attraction was not added in time for opening after the movie’s late‑summer breakout.
  • The build repurposes a former Lord & Taylor, employed more than 260 local tradespeople and will staff nearly 300 permanent roles, with city‑specific merchandise and partnerships with regional artists.
  • A Dallas location opens Dec. 11 with Stranger Things and Squid Game as its major experiences, as Netflix tests rotating, modular content and weighs broader rollout beyond the three sites it has committed through 2027.
