Netflix Lifts Dutch Subscription Prices to €15.99 and €20.99 in Latest European Move

The change follows earlier U.S. hikes and signals Netflix’s staggered rollout across European markets.

Overview

  • In the Netherlands, Standard now costs €15.99 a month and Premium €20.99, up from €13.99 and €18.99, according to Nu.nl and multiple outlets.
  • Reports also cite increases in Belgium, with Base at €10.99, Standard at €16.99 and Premium at €21.99, while the Netherlands lists a €9.99 Base tier.
  • A Netflix spokesperson said, “As we continually increase the value we provide our members, we occasionally ask them to pay a bit more.”
  • Netflix told reporters that a price change in one country does not automatically apply elsewhere, and it has not confirmed any new adjustments for Germany since its April 2024 rise.
  • German coverage notes the ad-supported entry plan remains at €5.99 per month and that extra-member fees for account sharing continue.
